Pres spox says Arashukov’s case not result of unsystematic effort
MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- A case against Russian Senator Rauf Arashukov is not a one-time effort but of daily fight against corruption, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.
“This is no one-time campaign, it is planned systematic daily work fighting corruption, violations of law,” Peskov
Arashukov, 32, was detained on January 30 on suspicion of participation in a crime group, murder of two people and pressure on a witness.
His father Raul, advisor to CEO of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, is accused of being a founder of a crime group and participant of gas theft. The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has already arrested Rauf,Raul and their relatives and friends who held top positions at gas enterprises in the North Caucasus.
